Air Fryer Tortilla Meat

Air-fryer tortilla meat rolls: brush a tortilla with mayo-soy, spread seasoned raw beef, roll, slice into bites and air-fry at 180°C until the beef cooks through, then melt mozzarella on top. Savoury and crisp.

Instructions

    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with soy sauce until smooth.

    Brush the mayo-soy mixture over the entire tortilla surface.

    Spread raw ground beef evenly over the tortilla. Season with salt and black pepper.

    Roll up tightly, then slice into bite-sized pieces (3–4 cm each).

    Place rolls in the air fryer and cook at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.

    Sprinkle grated mozzarella on top and air fry for a couple more minutes until cheese is melted.

Does the raw beef cook through in the rolls?

Yes — spread thin and sliced into small rounds, the beef cooks fully in about 15 minutes at 180°C. Check the centres are no longer pink before adding cheese.

What does the mayo-soy brush do?

It seasons the tortilla, adds savoury umami, and helps it brown and crisp as it air-fries instead of drying out.

Can I make them ahead?

Roll and slice ahead and refrigerate, then air-fry fresh. They reheat well in the air fryer too, which keeps the edges crisp.
